Scavenger Hunt and Tucson Landmark Tour - November 23, 2014
It was a beautiful day to get out and do something in your A. There were 34 attendees utilizing 15 - Model A’s, 1 – Model T and 1 – ’41 Pick-Up to meander thru the downtown area searching for the answers to the clues given out to the participants. Verbal driving instructions only, no maps, it was a good day to have a co-pilot, maybe. It didn’t seem to matter, as some went the wrong way and others only thought they went the right way. This was not a timed event so some took the time to stop and read about the history that was associated with some of the historic sites. Everyone seemed to enjoy it and many said that they learned something about the history of Tucson.
